How to make your Firework Painting:
Step 1: Cut thin strips into your toilet paper rolls. You will need one for each color you are using. The longer you cut your strips, the bigger your fireworks will be. Try cutting each roll a different length.
Step 2: Use your hands to fold the strips out.
Step 3: Push down on all your rolls to lay the strips flat on your work surface.
Step 4: Pour one paint color onto a paper plate and spread it out. Repeat this step for each color you will use.
Step 5: Cover your work surface to keep it clean from paint.
Step 6: Dip your toilet paper rolls into the paint and randomly place fireworks around your black paper.
Step 7: Once you let it dry a little, you can start layering your fireworks using different colors. Repeat for each color.
Step 8: Before your top layer dries, sprinkle your glitter on the firework. We used glitter paint after the colors dried.
The finished projects can be hung as decorations, folded into a greeting card, or shared with family and friends. Happy Independence Day!
