• Scissors
How To Make A Ring:
There are two different ways to make a ring.
Option 1
Step 1: Line up 3 pipe cleaners and slide them behind your center finger with four inches on one side.
Step 2: Wrap and twist the pipe cleaner around your finger to make a loop around your finger. Make sure you leave about one inch of the pipe cleaner sticking out. That will be the stem of your shamrock.
Step 3: Twist the three short pipe cleaners together to form a stem and point the stem down.
Step 4: Separate the three longer side pipe cleaners out above the stem.
Step 5: Now roll the longer sides of the pipe cleaner into a spiral. Roll it as close as you can to the stem.
Step 6: Bend and shape the pipe cleaners until you are happy with the shape of your shamrock. You can even use scissors to cut your stem to the right size.
Option 2
Step 1: Line up the pipe cleaners and twist them together about halfway up the pipe cleaner. This will be the stem and it needs to go around your finger.
Step 2: Take the twisted end and wrap it around your finger, leaving about half an inch out for the shamrock stem.
Step 3: Point the stem down and separate the three ends that are not twisted.
Step 4: Twist each pipe cleaner to make three separate loops.
Step 5: Your pipe cleaner will be very long, so trim the extra after you make your loops.
Step 6: Form and shape each loop until you're happy with the shape of your shamrock.
Give the friendship rings to family, friends, or just make a collection for yourself!
