How to make your Clay Mosaics:
Step 1: Start by rolling out a large handful of clay. Be sure not to roll it out too thin. (You want to be able to push in beans and seeds without going all the way through.)
Step 2: Now use a cookie cutter to cut through the clay and make your desired shape. Peel away the extra clay. You can also use the cutting tool to help do this. Smooth any edges with your finger.
Step 3: Create a design on the cutout shape by pressing in the beans and seeds.
Step 4: When the design is complete, let it dry overnight. We put ours on a clean cookie sheet to dry.
Step 5: Once the clay is dry, sponge or brush some Mod Podge over it to seal it.
Step 6: Let the Mod Podge dry and find the perfect fall outdoor area to enjoy your finished project.
Let your imagination and creativity run wild with different shapes and designs! These also make the perfect fall gift for friends and family.
